Read detailed description :

Vigorous and fertile. Greeny-yellow flesh, criss-crossed with little bright yellow threads, semi-delicate, sweet and slightly tangy. Very popular in cooking and dried to become prunes. Apparently celebrated before the 19th century. Named the 'Alsace' since 1914. Synonyms : German, Common, Lorraine, Metz, Haus Zwetsche. Prefers a not too heavy soil, sheltered from the wind. Avoid full sun and heat as heat waves will accelerate fruit falling.
