It is the hardiest of the evergreen oaks. Rather slow-growing tree that can reach over 10m tall with age. Dense and pyrmid-shaped vegetation, easily shaped into a rounded tree.

A rare evergreen shrub or little tree with slow growth and a long life. Pyramidal while young, becoming rounded with age. Elegant, long dark green leaves, bronze when budding.

Generally grown on stem, forming, naturally, a dense, more or less tall, spherical plant. Leaves are well cut and dark green on both sides, with orangey and red tints appearing in autumn.

An excellent upright growing Swamp Oak. The leaves are dark green, 10-15cm long, 5-10cm large, with well defined 5-7 lobes, and turning scarlet red to dark bronze in autumn.

An improvement of the Q. pedunculate fastigiata; narrower and more compact with marcescent leaves (dried leaves, staying on the tree until the following spring) and a better resistance to mildew.

Thick and glossy dark green leaves with silvery undersides. 13-18cm long and 5-10cm wide. Very rustic and robust, easy to grow and resistant to mildew. Appreciates a deep soil. Hybrid of 'Q.

Forms a superb, robust and vigorous column (resistant to powdery mildew).

This novel and vigorous variety, grows naturally in a columnar form and is very resistant to mildew and gall.
