Grows well in the half-shade and tolerates complete shade. Colouring is better with a bit of light when facing north or east.

Fast growing plant. Grows on its support thanks to tendrils without suckers. Beautiful dark red and orange early autumn colouring which is one of the first to be seen.

The finely cut and original leaves are a rich green colour in spring and summer, then scarlet red, early in autumn. Will attach to props with tendrils.

Grows 0,5 to 1m tall per year. It is the only true wild vine (quinquefolia) to attach itself to its support thanks to small suckers.

Dark purpely-red young shoots then growing lovely purple leaves, barely lobed, slightly crinkly with red veins. In autumn these leaves will turn a lovely red-dark purple to yellow.

Orangey-pink to yellow colours in autumn. An excellent brightly coloured climbing plant. Modest dimensions, ideal for small spaces, growing to a medium height.

Very vigorous plant that looks like the 'Veitchii' variety but with larger and regular three-lobed leaves of 15 to 35 cm long. Nice purple red autumn colouring.

Attach itself to the walls without damage thanks to suckers with studs. Hardy and robust plant. Green-yellow flowers in June-July. Blue-black fruits in September-October.
