LIRIODENDRON

Liriodendron, or Tulip Tree, belongs to the Magnoliaceae family. This large hardy pyramid-shaped tree can grow up to 50 metres in height. Its original-looking flowers are in the form of a tulip, yellow-green with bright orange markings at the base, which appear only once the tree has reached 5-6 metres in height. It requires rich fertile soil.
