Yucca belongs to the Asparagaceae family. Yucca filamentosa grows in a vigorous rosette-formed tuft from the base. Its evergreen foliage is blue-ish green and its creamy white flowers in large hanging bells are distributed from the flower stalks in July-August. Certain varieties can have variegated foliage.
