Nice little tree with long, flexible and drooping branches. They are covered with single bright pink flowers of 4 cm diameter in April-May that come from carmine red floral buds.

Small and compact plant with a columnar shape. Very floriferous, covered with carmine-pink semi-double flowers in April-May. In September-October, it produces a few yellow and red fruits.

This handsome, medium-sized tree is highly resistant to disease, with a regular, dense form and well-cut purple foliage. It turns a bright orange-red in autumn.
