The Weigelia 'All Summer Red®' is a rounded and compact plant needing little maintenance. The red flowers with white stamens are very attractive and will appear in May, repeating up to September. This quasi continual flowering is due to the lack of fruit, which would tire the plant. The dark green and elongated leaves will turn red in autumn, extending the attractiveness of the plant. Perfect in front of flowerbeds at the feet of other shrubs and roses, borders, low hedges, bordering terraces but also in pots. This rustic plant is robust and undemanding, tolerating a bit of chalk or clay. Appreciates added compost in poor soils and watering in dry weather.
