Introduced to France by Minier in 1963. Regular and compact vegetation, conical nearly column like. Rustic and resistant to pollution. Shiny tender green foliage, on slender flattened branchlets, all year round. Good in containers, rock gardens, isolated or bordering a path. Excellent for terraces, screening and hedges. Its original name is 'Smaragd'. Improvement of the 'Kelleriis viridis' variety.
