A compact and very frutiferous bush, very attractive, with the numerous dark pink berries, from the end of August to November-December. Attracts bees. Good in hedges, in a group, or by itself in flowerbeds with other shrubs. Prefers a fresh to humid soil, but tolerates dry, chalky and poor soils, as well as pollution. Tolerates shade from trees and root competition.
