An excellent improvement of the species, more vigorous, floriferous from a young age and easier to grow. Purple young shoots. Covered in flowers in June and July. Large inflorescences in corymbs of 15-20cm, composed of creamy white, heart-shaped, veined bracts of 3-4cm. The oval leaves of 6-12cm long, are serrated and ending in a tip or rounded. They are dark green with bluish-green undersides when mature, red tinted as shoots, and their stems are red. Will attach to props with little aerial roots. Ideal to leave climbing on trunks, walls, fences or trelissed. Appreciates an acid to neutral soil, with added compost and covered with straw.
