Very productive from July to September. Large firm, black and shiny berries. Large leaves. Excellent in fruit salads, jams and jellies. Rustic and easy to grow in any soil, preferably rich, even chalky, and tolerates shade. The climbing branches can be trellised to a fence or other props. Can also be planted in country-style hedges.
