Read detailed description :

Female variety that is hardy and easy to grow. Its long fresh green foliage is composed of very thinly cut leaflet. In autumn, they turn bright orange-yellow, mixed with purple colours. Its inconspicuous flowering appear in June-July and is followed by typical velvety-red fruits in upright clusters at the end of summer. They remain decorative until March. Its strong branches covered with down looks like deer antlers. The shrub has a rounded shape and is wider than it is tall. When mature, it produces a nice picturesque and often twisted trunk when we let it grow. Vigorous, it develops shoots coming out of the ground which extend the base of the shrub. It is nice when grown both alone or in groups, on slopes, in free hedges or in flowery meadows. It will grow in any drained soils, even poor, very dry or calcareous. It appreciates sunny exposure.
