Vigorous bamboos with numerous straight and thin stems gathered in tight clumps. Beautiful large and glossy dark green foliage of 10 to 30 cm long with an elegant drooping shape. Hardy plant that tolerates temporary drought. Nice when planted alone, in containers, near ponds, as a free or pruned hedge or grown indoors. Japanese name: Yadake.
