Productive between the end of August and early September. Lovely, big, oblong plums, dark purple-red when ripe, wrapped in a waxy blue skin. The delicate, yellowy-green flesh is sweet, tender and juicy. Easily comes off the stone. Bunches of white flowers appear in April. Forms a vigorous little tree with a regular and abundant production. Popular plum tree, originating from the Damascus plum, by graft ('Ente' being the french transalation for graft). Brought back from the East by Crusaders.
