Harvested when ripe in August. Self-fertilizing, productive and vigorous. An orangey-yellow, musky, tender, juicy, sweet and perfumed flesh. Originally from Nancy. Introduced to France by King Stanislas of Lorraine in 1709. Synonyms : De Wurtemberg, Peach Apricot, Large Peach Apricot, De Tours. Very rustic with fruit recommended for confectionery.
