A well ramified tree, slightly pyramidal, spreading out with age. The bark is generally browny-red, with yellow and green flaky patches. Leaves are triangular and shiny green with 5 narrow and deeply cut lobes, becoming golden-yellow in autumn. Offers a pleasant and lighter shade than other classic Plane trees.
