This handsome, medium-sized tree is highly resistant to disease, with a regular, dense form and well-cut purple foliage. It turns a bright orange-red in autumn. Its pinkish-red flowers in spring are followed by red fruit from late summer to early winter. It is perfect for small gardens, either as an isolated plant or in a row, and requires virtually no maintenance.
