Deep green palmated foliage with a pyramid shape. It has warm colours in autumn. Its colours can vary from orange yellow to purple. Its branches spread out horizontally and the tree takes a more rounded shape when mature. It bears round and hairy hanging fruits in winter. Its branches are often winged with elegant corky outgrowths. Ideal grown alone on a lawn, in groups or in rows. Rather slow growing plant that can grow over 10m tall with age. Appreciates deep soils. Can cope with temporary moisture or even soils that are flooded every years for a short period of time.
