A round and compact shrub with persistant shiny dark green leaves in summer, turning purple in winter, and with bronze shoots in spring. The small leaves are original, 3cm long, curvy and delicately serrated on the edges. This male variety has white flowers in spring, and will pollinate female varieties for bearing decorative berries. Pruning is not necessary on this very rustic variety.
