Read detailed description :

Remakable, large, deeply wrinkled, tough leaves, with a velvety white underside, very decorative, turning a superb burgundy red in autumn. Large bunches of green tinted flowers in July, turning white in August, then slowly going pink up to at least October. Tolerates the sun if in a not too dry soil. The decorative bark becomes flaky with age. The young branches are covered in a rusty coloured down. Vigorous, erect and beautiful plant.
