Read detailed description :

Plant with an average growth. The clusters of white flowers in mid-August are gradually turning purple-pink till October or later. It tolerates well direct sunlight in not too dry soils. Large, tough and embossed leaves with very decorative white downy underside. In autumn, the foliage turns vermilion red to purple with a mixed of green, yellow and orange colours. It is the only species of hydrangea with lobed leaves. The old wood bark is decorative when it peels off. The young shoots are covered with a red down.
