Maintenance advice : Quite short pruning at the end of winter in order to have big clusters of flowers. Pruning is nevertheless not necessary. In April, remove dead and fragile wood, shorten the branches that has flowered 15 cm from their base in order to have large flowers.

The flowering occurs from July to September. Large clusters covered with white florets and turning pinkish cream. The clusters are much larger when the plant is pruned at the end of winter. It tolerates sandy and rocky soils that are not too dry. Synonym: Minatzuki. The nurseryman Lemoine de Nancy bought this variety from Von Siebold and distributed it.
