Flower buds are light pink, opening into creamy pink with, at the center, yellowy orange anthers and an intense perfume. Abundant flowers in April-May, repeating every now and then up to the first frosts (very late in autumn-winter in warm climates). In a continental climate, flowers are even more abundant in spring. Leaves will, partly, stay on the plant in winter, keeping the plant compact and rounded. Plant in a sunny exposure in a well drained soil. Hybrid of the Daphnes 'caucasica' and 'collina' varieties.
