Read detailed description :

Large and conical, loosely formed, with vertical spires and sprawling lateral branches. Browny-red bark and very resinous. Delicate yellow foliage, golden in spring. Yellow cones. A light trim will favour the appearance of colourful young shoots. Resistant to sea spray and dry weather, well adapted to coastal regions. Lambert introduced the first parent plants to the Californian coast, south of Monterey (US) in around 1838.
