Bright dark pink flowers of 3 to 4 cm diameter in late spring, between May and early July. Their 5 petals are slightly crumpled and their centre is decorated with a clump of stamens with yellow anthers. They are renewed every day and cover the ground with a shower of colourful petals. It has a grey-green, slightly wavy, evergreen foliage. Low shrub with a spreading shape.
