Large pyramidal form, regular and dense. Graceful reclining form with horizontal flexible main branches but with smaller hanging branches along it, giving a willow form. Moderate growth at first, then faster. Resistant to parasites. Not as rustic as the Cedrus atlantica. Dark grey bark. Dark green, blue tinted foliage, contrasting with its pale green young shoots. Needles are 4 to 5cm long. Erect oval cones are 10cm long and brown with blue tints.
