Vigorous and semi-persistent vine. Beautiful foliage composed of 4 to 6 leaflets. Male and female flowers in drooping clusters are located on the same plant and perfumed in April. Original burgundy colour. The female flowers are larger. Unusual oval lilac fruits follow the flowering in warm climates. Can exceed 6m in height. Excellent climbing plante in semi shade.
