Read detailed description :

A shrub with dense vegetation and a graceful, mushroom like form, with branches drooping at the extremities. Palm shaped laciniated leaves, deeply cut out, 5 to 10cm, soft green in spring, dark green in summer, turning orangey-yellow in the autumn. Prefers a not too chalky soil, rich, fresh and well drained. Bark is green streaked with creamy white. Synonym : 'Dissectum Viridis', a clone introduced by Thunberg in 1784, thinking it was the natural form. The plant is actually from a garden selection, close to the ssp. matsumurae
