A small tree or large shrub with original bright young shoots, widely washed and splashed with white, on attractive pinkish young wood. Abundant, attractive flowering in May-June, with very large, starry white flowers. Very attractive spherical red fruit from late summer to autumn, with edible sweet flesh. Mature foliage is dark green, turning orange-yellow in autumn. Acid to neutral soil, not too dry and mulched on the surface.
