The ribbon-like persistant leaves are edged in green with dark purple bands and a lighter green central line, tinted with cream. As no trunk develops, several stems will form at the base when mature. A graphic plant, ideal in large pots on terraces and balconies. Shelter the plant in winter, in a cool room, to protect from very cold weather.
