A compact, graphic and well ramified plant with horizontally tiered branches. Numerous white, flat flowers in May-June, followed by red berries from the end of summer to early autumn. The green leaves are oval, deeply veined and become purpely-red in autumn. This rustic plant will grow in any soil, preferably cool and with added compost. Superb in flowerbeds, hedges, isolated or mass planting, and in containers.
