This Magnolia is magical ! Superb spring flowers of a unique colour, dark purpely red. Begins producing at a young age, flowers in spring with repeat flowering in summer. The lovely dark green leaves are robust and resistant. Pyramid shaped form, will adapt very well to small spaces, next to buildings and in flowerbeds. Easy to grow and rustic in a well drained and thick soil. A crossbreed of the Magnolias soulangeana and liliiflora 'Nigra'.
