Read detailed description :

Known as the hardiest of the cherry laurel. Upright, bushy and vigorous vegetation. Beautiful elongated oval foliage with a glossy dark green colour. White flowers organised in upright clusters of 8 to 12 cm long in April-May. Ovoid black fruit of 8 to 10 mm diameter in summer and autumn. Pruning in hedges can suppress the flower and the fruit production. Very well known plant for making hedges. Avoid soils that are too calcareous.
