Resistant to sea spray. To plant in warm and sheltered locations. Orange scented flowers organised in 5 to 8 cm diameter terminal clusters, followed by green spherical fruits of 1,5 to 2 cm diameter. It forms nice hedges and tall shrubs pruned into sunshades in mild climate. Otherwise, it prefers to be planted sheltered with mixed hedges, in containers or in rock gardens.
