Compact, spreading and hardy dwarf plant with a beautiful, shiny bottle-green and fairly wavy foliage. Large amount of bell-shaped flowers with a large waxy and deep red colour in April-May. Easy to grow and useful plant, it is a safe bet for the garden. Hybrid between Rhododendron Forrestii Repens Group and 'Essex Scarlet'.
