Compact, oval shrub with evergreen leaves, shiny and olive-green on black stems.The purpely flowers are discreet but highly perfumed. Plant in a sheltered spot to protect from very cold weather, in any well drained soil. Sunny or half-shade exposure. Ideal in hedges, in a pot on a balcony or terrace, as well as in flowerbeds.
