Read detailed description :

Diffuses in May-June a strong heady perfume, evoking Jasmin and Orange Blossom. At this moment, it is covered in bunches of 5 to 9 creamy-white flowers. Each one is composed of one simple corolla with 4 petals, 2.5 to 3.5cm in diameter, mounted with a cluster of yellow stamens at the center. The dull dark green leaves, with a pointed end, jagged and slightly rough to the touch, are between 4.5 to 9cm long. Forms a sturdy shrub with erect strong stems, slightly drooping at the extremities, if left to grow. The light brown bark, slightly shiny becomes ornamental when mature. Perfect in flower beds, borders, hedges, in a group or isolated. Easy to acheive, resists the cold, grows in a slightly acid to very chalky soil, Tolerates the dryer weather but will flower more in a cooler soil enriched with compost. Plant in a sunny to half shade exposure, sheltered from strong winds.
