Elegant and light shrub with upright stems. Evergreen foliage of 25 to 30 cm long pointed leaflets with a dark green colour in summer and turning purple red in winter. White flowering in June-July organised in upright clusters of 25 to 30 cm long at the end of the branches. Beautiful bright red and pea-sized berries in clusters from September to November. The fruits can persist on the plant in mild winters.
