Nice little tree with long, flexible and drooping branches. They are covered with single bright pink flowers of 4 cm diameter in April-May that come from carmine red floral buds. The flowers are followed by small red fruits that are very decorative from September to December. Its serrated dark red foliage in spring stays bronze from summer to autumn.
