Read detailed description :

This small tree or large shrub, growing to about 4m, is particularly original from spring to autumn. The spring leaves are an intense coral-red. They then become light green, contrasting with the bright pink to red stems. As with others of the variety, they are composite and elegantly cut. The new summer shoots are also colourful but dimmer. If the tree is well established, the long yellow bunches of flowers in July will be perfumed and very attractive to bees. Fruit follows flowering, in lovely little coral-pink capsules. Lastly, in autumn the leaves will turn an orangey yellow colour. Formed into a small decorative tree or as a trellised shrub, the 'Coral Sun' needs to be planted in a warm area, sheltered from winds, and in a well drained soil, even dry.
