Exists on earth, allegedly, for over 200 millions years. Very rustic and resistant to pollution. Survived Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Fan shaped leaves, split in the middle. Superb yellow colour in autumn. On the female plant the almond-like fruit are 2.5cm large with medicinal nuts and with a peculier smell. Growth is slow at first, then gets faster. Can grow to 15-20m in height, 8-10m in width on older subjects.
