Read detailed description :

Graceful arching form. Ideal in hedges, containers or isolated. Stays a compact tuft. The name comes from the reddish colour on the ends of young shoots and leaf sheaths. Close to the Fargesia dracocephala variety, growing between 1000m and 2500m, on the Chinese Gansu and Sichuan mountains. This particular bamboo is food for Giant pandas.
